ACUPUNCTURE IS FOR EVERYONE

In doing a quick count, I just discovered that I've now had clients from over 40 different countries. It's my deep belief that acupuncture is human medicine, part of our shared human inheritance.

Tangential to this belief: BKS Iyengar used to talk about yoga not being specifically for Indians but rather for everyone.  I mean, how can you restrict modalities which open up the doors to our own true nature? or to universal consciousness?  Seems obvious today but 30 years ago, when I first made contact with yoga, it was still pretty fringe - it’s been exciting to see this positive expansion, as yoga is now universally accepted.

I feel the exact same way about Five-Element acupuncture.  It's more than I can share in one post - but I feel the world is ready to re-discover and re-embrace the classical style of acupuncture - the crown jewel of the ancient healing traditions. (Read below for more background).

More background on Five Element Acupuncture:

Five-element acupuncture is a type of acupuncture that is based on the belief that the universe and everything in it is made up of five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. According to this philosophy, these elements are constantly interacting and influencing each other, and they also have corresponding energies in the human body. Five-element acupuncture aims to restore balance to the body by treating not only the symptoms of a condition but also the underlying imbalances of the five elements.

Five-element acupuncture is a unique approach to acupuncture that may be particularly useful for treating conditions that are caused by imbalances in the body's energy, such as depression, anxiety, and all manner of physical symptoms.
